Testimonials

“Michael had no long term horizon, didn’t care about anything, was disengaged and had no foundation to start the recovery journey… Today he is a productive senior in HS involved in extra-curricular activities and thinking about college. (Headway) gave us traction, a positive track record of real accomplishments and new beginning.”

Stephanie has been with Headway since August, 2018 and has worked in the human services field since 2013. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has past experience working with children with trauma histories, mental illness, and young adults on the autism spectrum. As an intern within our school-based therapy program, she gets to work with children and their families in an elementary school environment, learn how a school functions, and learns how to coordinate mental health services for her clients. She prioritizes being authentic and genuine with her clients, and learns from and with them.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys working out, running, playing basketball, being outside, cooking, trying new restaurants, exploring the Twin Cities area, spending quality time with family and friends, and cheering on the Packers.
