Testimonials

“Michael had no long term horizon, didn’t care about anything, was disengaged and had no foundation to start the recovery journey… Today he is a productive senior in HS involved in extra-curricular activities and thinking about college. (Headway) gave us traction, a positive track record of real accomplishments and new beginning.”

Brienne joined Headway in August, 2013 and has been working in the human services field for over 13 years, specializing in providing services to children and families within educational settings. She has experience and expertise in school-based mental health and is passionate about the positive impact created by collaborating with schools to meet the mental health needs of students. She believes that strong relationships between school communities and mental health providers creates integrated services and powerful healing for students and their families. She hopes that her team can not only bring direct therapeutic services to students in the district, but also work alongside school staff to support each school community in promoting mental wellness for all students. "It is my honor and privilege to support such a dedicated and highly skilled group of therapists in providing therapy services to students and support to each of their school communities in District 191," she says.

When Brienne is not working, she enjoys playing hockey, singing in a band, going to the family cabin, and spending time with family and friends.
