Brienne joined Headway in August, 2013 and has been working in the human services field for over 13 years, specializing in providing services to children and families within educational settings. She has experience and expertise in school-based mental health and is passionate about the positive impact created by collaborating with schools to meet the mental health needs of students. She believes that strong relationships between school communities and mental health providers creates integrated services and powerful healing for students and their families. She hopes that her team can not only bring direct therapeutic services to students in the district, but also work alongside school staff to support each school community in promoting mental wellness for all students. "It is my honor and privilege to support such a dedicated and highly skilled group of therapists in providing therapy services to students and support to each of their school communities," she says.

When Brienne is not working, she enjoys playing hockey, singing in a band, going to the family cabin, and spending time with family and friends.

Rondi joined Headway in September, 2014 and has worked in the human services field since 2003. She has worked primarily with children ages five to 12 in day treatment, in-home, and school settings. She has worked with Headway's Anoka-Hennepin and District 197 school-based programs for five school years before becoming Supervisor for District 197 and Vision. She loved seeing her clients grow throughout their treatment, and also enjoys guiding staff through professional and personal development with clinical and administrative supervision.

When she is not working, Rondi enjoys kayaking, spending time with family and friends, going out for breakfast at new spots, reading, and attending events in her community.

Caroline has been with Headway since August, 2018 and has worked in human services for over 10 years. She has past experience working with youth aged five to 18 and their families, and specializes in play therapy. As a school-based therapist, she provides mental health care services to students and their families within a school setting. She assists her clients by helping school staff identify the mental health needs of their students, providing a place for students to safely name and process their emotions, and offering support and therapy to their family members.

Emma joined Headway in August, 2016 and has worked in the human services field since 2011. She has previous experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in multiple different education venues including The Annica Program, the Minnesota Autism Center and the Anova Center for Education. As a school-based therapist, she will collaborate with families and school administration to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for her clients to learn, heal, and grow. “I believe that a compassionate therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful mental health interventions and that children thrive when offered genuine trust and the opportunity to explore their identities within the world,” she says.

When she is not at work, Emma loves to kayak and bike when she is outside, and cook and bake when she is inside. She also dances with the St. Paul Czech and Slovak Folk Dancers and also likes to relax at the North Shore and share laughter-filled meals with her family and friends.

Jessie has been working in the human services field for more than 10 years and joined Headway in January, 2018.  She has previous experience working with a variety of populations, including children aged 6 weeks to 10 years, at-risk female youth of color, low-income housing clients, and Spanish-speakers and members of the Latino community.  She has numerous specialty areas, including play therapy, trauma-informed practice, couples and family therapy, culturally-sensitive practice, and Spanish bilingual/bi-cultural therapy.  "I hope to build strong, meaningful relationships with students, families, school staff, and community members," she says.

In her free time, Jessie likes to write, draw, paint, craft, go thrift shopping, bike, dance, drink tea, and find fun new ways to be active with her family and friends.

Naomi has been with Headway since August, 2018 and has worked in human services since 2013. She has experience working with Somali, Latino, African American, Kuwaiti, and Muslim clients and has competencies in ADHD coaching, parenting and academic coaching, Yoga Calm Mindfulness Interventions, and solutions brief focused therapy. As a school based therapist, she transforms lives by connecting families to resources and builds her clients a community of support in order to be successful in school and at home. She strengthens communities through her role by providing parent outreach programming and collaborating with school staff.

Outside of work, Naomi enjoys being active and creative, visiting with friends and family, and making new connections. She enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, and boating, as well as sewing, jewelry-making, and other crafts. She practices yoga and mindfulness exercises on a daily basis.

Olivia joined Headway in September, 2017 and has worked in the human services field since 2014. She has previous experience working with adults, teens, and children, including an internship at FAIR school downtown as a school social worker. As a Mental Health Therapist, she works with children, adolescents and their families within a school setting. “I want to provide adolescents with hope and support while creating therapeutic relationships,” she says. “I hope to empower students in identifying their strengths and abilities as a way to cope.”

Outside of Headway, Olivia coaches high school dance team for Eden Prairie High School. In her free time, she loves to go up to the cabin with her family, spend time with her new baby niece, play board games, bake, and go to Twins games.

Victoria has been with Headway since August, 2018 and has worked in human services since 2015. As a school-based therapist, she enjoys getting to know the students, families, and school staff within her school. She provides therapy in a school setting for elementary-aged children and their families. "I work to foster hope and empowerment into the children and families with whom I work, while increasing their connection to their school," she says.

In her spare time, Victoria enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, finding new shops around the cities, yoga, traveling, and catching up on TV shows.
