“Michael had no long term horizon, didn’t care about anything, was disengaged and had no foundation to start the recovery journey… Today he is a productive senior in HS involved in extra-curricular activities and thinking about college. (Headway) gave us traction, a positive track record of real accomplishments and new beginning.”

Emma joined Headway in August, 2016 and has worked in the human services field since 2011. She has previous experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in multiple education venues including The Annica Program, the Minnesota Autism Center and the Anova Center for Education. She believes in the power of creating a community of support around children to help them grow and thrive, and is energized by partnering with school staff. She says, "I am honored to support a team of compassionate and competent therapists who are committed to nurturing the emotional health of their clients and school communities. I look forward to continuing to build and develop the relationships with the schools and communities we serve."

When she is not at work, Emma loves to explore cities near and far on her bicycle and cozy up with a good book at a local coffee shop. She also likes to relax at the North Shore and share laughter-filled meals with family and friends.
