Testimonials

“I have been living with mental illnesses since I was 13... hospitalized more than 10 times since I was 19. After being in therapy for the last six months, I feel more stable than I have in my whole life... I love what they have done for me.”

Ian joined Headway in August, 2017 and has worked in the human services field since 2015. He is currently attending the University of Minnesota and is working toward earning his Master’s degree in Counseling and Student Psychology. He has previous experience working with children with intellectual disabilities and children on the autism spectrum, and he has worked with adults living with various mental illnesses. He is excited to work with adolescents who are the only age group he has not yet worked with. “I hope to put my training and practice to use, in a way that will assist and help people make the best decisions for themselves,” he says.
