Ryan joined Headway in July, 2019 and has worked in the human services field since 2009. He has past experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in community mental health, an outpatient hospital, private practice, college counseling, wilderness therapy, psychiatric inpatient, and therapeutic day school in Minnesota and Illinois. His areas of focus include cultural responsiveness, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and developmental disorders in addition to providing therapy and assessment. He has also been an adjunct instructor and guest lecturer in university settings. He works to create an inclusive environment for staff and clients in experiencing authenticity, where people feel heard and understood in making new paths for empowerment co-created together.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys tending his patio garden and honing his skills as a baker. He also enjoys spending time with his three children and sharing in their joy and wonder of the world around them.

Lauren joined Headway in April, 2019 and has worked in the human services field since 2006. She is experienced in working with a wide range of client populations, including children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings, a university counseling center, and educational settings. She has specialized expertise in conducting evaluations of individuals with neurodevelopmentally-based disorders such as ADHD, autism, intellectual disability, and learning disorders. As Training and Assessment Director, she enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and students to serve those in our community. "I believe in delivering compassionate, comprehensive, and high quality assessment services as an important first step in client services in order to shed light on the client profile and determine the best course of treatment," she says.

When she is not working, Lauren enjoys reading, knitting, and discovering new hiking trails with her boys and her dog, Leo.

Noureen joined Headway in September, 2013 as an outpatient therapist, and has worked in the human services field since 2008. She has experience working with clients who have a dual diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness and chemical dependency, domestic violence, sexual abuse/sexual assault victims, and other trauma issues. Her areas of focus include cultural responsiveness, trauma, dissociative identity disorder, depression, and anxiety, in addition to providing therapy and clinical supervision. Her clinical competencies include DBT, Sand Tray, EMDR, and AIRNet. As Managing Supervisor, Clinician Development, her role is to develop our providers so that they are able to provide support to clients in alignment with our mission of empowering people of all ages to live an emotionally healthy life. "My goal is to help clinicians incorporate authenticity in their work of walking with clients in their journey of transformation," she says.

Outside of work, Noureen enjoys spending time with her family. Her children remind her that we are all interconnected and that the work of each one of us is to create a world in which we want to live and raise our families.

Dan joined Headway in January, 2018 and has worked in the human services field since 2001.  He provides therapy services for individuals, groups, and families and specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, and working with clients who have ADHD, ODD, are experiencing grief and loss, or are victims or perpetrators of childhood sexual abuse.  "I plan to help my clients find healing in their individual lives," he says.

Outside of work, Dan likes to travel, spend time with his children and granddaughter, and read.

Eowyn has been in the mental health field since 2001. She has held several positions with Headway, starting as an intern in the Vision program and has worked in a therapist postion since July, 2012.  As a therapist, she works with children, adolescents and adults to help them develop insight and overcome obstacles to their personal development.  She has experience with Adlerian Play Therapy and has training on incorporating the body into the healing process with trauma, such as using trauma informed yoga and yoga calm.  She also has past experience providing services to adults with SPMI.  "As a therapist I love getting to see clients grow and live fuller lives," she says.  "it is always an honor to be a part of someone's healing process."

Outside of work, Eowyn enjoys practicing yoga, gardening, and spending time with her friends and husband.  She is also a community faculty member at Metro State University and teaches Ethics and Diversity to Psychology majors.
