Testimonials

"My staff (at Sioux Trail Elementary) have been sharing about Headway's training sessions. Teachers come back from the trainings excited to try new strategies and they have new understanding regarding mental health issues. This is making a difference in their classrooms and helping them relate to students when they are struggling."

Sage joined Headway in August, 2019 and has worked in the human services field since 2013. She has experience working with clients of all ages experiencing physical or mental disabilities; most recently, she worked at a behavioral health facility working with children and adolescents. She is trained in B-CBT, and has lead CBT, mindfulness, and other various therapies. As a case manager, she is excited to continue to help and impact children, teens, and their families with mental health issues. "I hope to impact and transform the lives of the families with whom I work by providing services that they may not even know exist in the community," she says. "I hope to allow them to see that there is hope in change, and that the issues they may be struggling with right now don't have to be issues anymore."

When she is not working, Sage enjoys traveling with friends, hanging out with her family, and reading, as well as spending lots of time with her dog.
